I love the composition of the english language. So much so, that i dappled with becoming an English Major. I excelled in all of my college english comp classes with ease and joy, and was in college placement ones during high school. That being said, I dont edit my blog.
I use way too many parenthesis and quotes, i often forget about my friend, the semi-colon, and i hate capitalizing my i's (see) and using apostrophes, not because I'm rebelling, but just because my fingers type faster then my brain works, and there is passion behind those fingers so i dont want to slow them down and forget what i was saying (guilty of that mid-sentence..a lot) and i also barely have enough time to write, let alone edit. Bare with me my dears.
Also, i have no filter, which when meeting like-hearted individuals, i find it refreshing. Not everyone shares that sentiment however, so i feel it necessary to warn you :)
Just a normal regular family getting by and sometimes barely; hanging by a thread called God. Not a five-some to be looked up to, or envied in any way. Just a little Nest learning how to grow and working on love, while continually being altered at the Altar.
Who We Are
- The Nason Nest
- Our nest was constructed over seven years ago, my fierce, protective warrior bird took me under his wing and made for me, a nest; not a nest in a concrete and stable sense, as it has seen and been built in many trees with our changing seasons, but a "nest" in the sense of belonging to someone, and growing with them, laying our eggs and anticipating our nestlings. The Nest has been a refuge, a place of safety and love, a place where we are wanted more then ever. A place of warmth, where you are reassured, where energy is limitless and children are vivacious. Where sincerity is our stronghold, where loves endures the odds, and our joy for our Jesus is simply irrepressible. We hope that after our Nestlings- Brooks, Corban, and Little Elsie take flight they will look back on the nest from which they flew, and be nostalgic for the memories that were built here, and the virtues they will use to create nests of their own.
